The Beaches of Cap d’Agde
It takes about ten minutes by car to reach Cap d’Agde from the campsite. This seaside resort, popular with families during the summer, boasts 14 km of beaches and is cherished for its pleasant Mediterranean climate. The resort features nine beaches in total.
The three sandy beaches west of the port, towards Grau-du-Roi, are particularly popular with families. These include Richelieu Beach – the largest and busiest – as well as Rochelongue Beach and the Bay of Friendship Beach. These areas are equipped with numerous facilities and services, including parking lots, restaurants, lifeguard stations, changing rooms, and showers. A pedestrian path connects these beaches, making for leisurely strolls.
To the east of the port, you’ll find La Plagette, Grande Conque Beach, Cliff Beach, Mole Beach, Roquille Beach, and the naturist beach. Protected by imposing volcanic cliffs, Grande Conque is among the most visited spots. Cliff Beach, on the other hand, offers a quieter setting, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or relaxing on the sand.

- Water sports: Several nautical centers are located along the various beaches of this resort in Hérault. Vacationers can rent equipment for water sports and take lessons as well. Among the popular activities, you’ll find windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, sea excursions, and scuba diving.
